According to the AP, one person has died after the train carrying crude oil derailed.

Fire crews from Maine are helping at a disaster in Quebec. Following a train derailment, 80 tankers of gasoline caught fire forcing the village of Lac-Megantic, in the province of Quebec, to be evacuated.

According to WMTW, crews from the towns of Rangeley, Farmington and Eustis are assisting.

No injuries or casualties have yet been reported and currently, it is unclear when the trail derailed or where it was heading or coming from.
