Radio Shack Files For Chapter 11 Bankruptcy
It's a sad day for those who like electric doodads, RC cars and great customer service. Radio Shack has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
They are one of the last places that a person could walk in and purchase something specific for an electronic if they were handy with wires and soldering. They sold consumer goods but what made Radio Shack unique was there array of diodes and parts.
It's sad to see them dissolve as a company, further more I feel for the employees that just lost their jobs.
On a more local note, I wonder what will become of the Radio Shack at the Augusta plaza?
