Rae Sremmurd's hit single "Black Beatles" is taking them to new heights. The Mississippi duo recently performed the Billboard-topping track on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi turn up for the day crowd, backed by a live band, which puts a different spin of the popular track. By the end of the performance, Slim Jxmmi is taking selfie videos with Ellen.

The Gucci Mane-assisted "Black Beatles" was one of the biggest rap songs of 2016, due in large part to the Mannequin Challenge going viral. Started by some students at Jacksonville, Fla.’s Edward H. White High School, the group featured the challenge in their lit video, and the rest is history.

“I was going through Twitter and I saw a video, a little high school was doing the Mannequin Challenge and I thought it was cool so I brought it to everybody,” Slim Jxmmi told ESPN. “We made the freshest video ever and it went crazy dumb viral.”

Not only did the song reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and sit there for multiple weeks, it also racked up 54.1 million streams in the U.S., which is the most in one week since Adele’s hit single “Hello” registered 61.6 in 2015.

In related news, Swae Lee recently revealed he might be thinking about sliding off in Malia Obama's DMs. “I think we would get along,” Swae told TMZ cameras in December. “She got a year off. We might bump heads, who know? ‘Cuz we both be on turnt up scenes and we just love life equally. We might connect.”
