Red Cross Needs Summer Blood Donations

The Red Cross says it is in need of blood donations. Summertime brings a significant drop in donations. In fact, New England has seen a 10 % drop in donations. Red Cross said there is particular need for types O-negative, B-negative and A-negative, all are encouraging all to donate.

Summer is a difficult time to collect blood with people going on vacation and many college students home for the summer.
