‘Rethink Homelessness’ Really Wants You to Rethink What You Think You Know About the Homeless

When a lot of people see someone who is homeless there are a lot of assumptions that are made. But, once you learn more about who they and their stories, it hard to just lump people into some preconceived category. In fact, ‘Rethink Homelessness’ recently asked a few homeless people to write down a fact about themselves that other people wouldn't know just by walking past them. Their answers may surprise you.This group of people is not really all that unique, I have learned over the years, most people you meet who are homeless or in homeless shelter are more like us that many want to admit.
