Ridin’ Pumpkins! Nowhere Else but in Damariscotta, Maine….YESSAH! [VIDEO]

I got to hang with some really nice people today in Damariscotta. Don Carrigan from channel 6 (who is from that part of the state) and Buzz Pinkham, the creator of the event. That's some good company by anyone's standards, mista!

The Pumpkinfest Regatta is the crowning jewel of the celebration which has taken place in this quaint coastal town for several years. It's events in towns like this that make Maine home. Everybody has fun, businesses thrive and nobody gets hurt. Too bad this only happens once a year!

From the giant parade, to "pumpkin chunkin'," and the regatta, everybody has fun. Everyone (even the many out-of-staters) is like a neighbor.

Let me also say that my sister from another station, Sharon Buck, killed it on the National Anthem. UNREAL!!
