Rihanna was in London promoting her dreadful new fashion line when she was attacked by an irate fan with an energy drink for getting back together with Chris Brown.

Said fan must not be up on his news, because it seems there's already trouble in paradise, but regardless, witnesses report Rih was at a nightclub called the Box on Feb. 16 when an enraged person threw a can of an energy drink at her while yelling things about Breezy.

The attack left her with a bloody knee and a not-so-gentle reminder that some assholish members of the public react to domestic abuse by retaliating with abuse of their own. (Seriously, what the hell.)

RiRi didn't think too much of the attack though, and instead chose to share a newspaper headline and magazine cover likening her to the late Princess Diana. Drunkenly.

“Just so happens I came home drunk to this in a pile of papers outside my hotel room! My lil Bajan behind, never thought these many people would even know my name, now it's next to Princess Diana's on the front of a newspaper! Life can be such a beautiful thing when you let it be #yourejealous”

In addition to the newspaper touting Rihanna as the “new Princess Diana," she shared a magazine cover with the same theme.

This photo came along with the caption:

“When your face is pic-stitched to Princess Diana's on the cover of The Sunday Times.... I mean... #extraordinaRIHbehavior.”

She probably should have read the magazine article before getting excited -- it was less about being a prim and proper lady and more about being a troubling mess. Not exactly the flattering comparison she was probably hoping for.
