RIP Fred Nutter – Maine Broadcasting Legend Dies At 82

Maine has lost a broadcasting legend.

Fred Nutter, a longtime Maine broadcaster, who was best known for his editorials at WCSH-TV, always ending with the tagline "That's our opinion, we welcome yours." passed away on Feb. 26 at the age of 82.

The station announced Nutter's passing on its Facebook page.

We are extremely sad to tell everyone that NEWS CENTER has lost a beloved member of its family. Fred Nutter passed away...
