Yet Another Accident on Route 4 in Auburn

It feels as though there is a major accident on Route 4/Outer Center St in Auburn every week.

Another one today according to the Sun Journal. I hope everyone is alright after being treated at the hospital. As often as these accidents happen on this stretch it would seem to me that something needs to be done. One friend, Kathy thinks a center lane for left turns would help. Makes sense as I'm sure many of these accidents are from people trying to turn left from the left/passing lane. Also think if the speed limit were lowered by ten miles an hour that too would lessen the severity of these crashes. I drive that part of route 4 frequently and I see drivers treating that road like Loudon. At any rate, something does need to get done.
