If you thought Mad Max made for a cutthroat road race, RuPaul and the cream of the drag queen-crop are about to up the ante.

Today, on the heels of Violet Chachki's Season 7 RuPaul's Drag Race win, Ru announced the show's All Stars spin-off will return for a second season that will air after the upcoming eighth Drag Race installment. The host hasn't announced which former performers will compete to be named royalty above the rest, but she assures loyal fans they'll be thrilled all the same, and Logo's NewNowNext blog has promised "more eleganza and double-lashed side eye than Drag Race has ever seen."

"The chance to bring back my girls for a new season of All Stars is a dream come true for me and all the fans around the world," RuPaul says in the announcement clip above. "I'd like to tell you which queens are coming back, but then I'd have to kill you."

In the show's first All Stars competition, previous Drag Race contestants were paired off in teams as part of the game's first leg, but Season 4 contender Chad Michaels ultimately beat out Season 2 favorite Raven to claim a final individual win.

"Looking forward 2 some company in The Drag Race Hall of Fame!" Michaels tweeted after the All Stars Season 2 announcement, while RuPaul simply observed "GAG!" via social media.
