I just bough some last night... Luckily, mine has an end date of December. Sabra, the make of a variety of hummus products and spreads, has issued a recall because of concerns over listeria contamination.

It is a voluntary recall, after Listeria monocytogenes were found at a manufacturing facility. The company does say that no finished products that were tested have been found to be contaminated.

You are urged to throw away any product with a best-before date through Jan. 23, 2017.

You can get a complete list of products under recall from the Food and Drug Administration here.
