That was fast! Just days after an intruder broke into Selena Gomez's new Calabasas pad, he has been convicted in the case and is ordered to spend 45 days in the county jail, E! News reports. He has also been ordered to stay away from the 'Come & Get It' singer, has received three years probation and is not allowed to possess any weapons.

The 20-year-old man, Che Cruz, arrived at Gomez's newly purchased home on Sunday, March 30. Gomez and a friend reportedly heard strange noises, and the actress/singer was about to call her security to investigate when the intruder showed up at the door. He rang the doorbell and asked if Gomez was home. After her friend told him she wasn't, he broke into the guest house, where cops soon found him in the bathroom, where he was promptly arrested and charged with burglary and trespassing.

Cruz pleaded no contest to "unauthorized entry of a dwelling house," which is a misdemeanor.

Scarily enough, this is not the first time Gomez has had to deal with creepy trespassers. Just several months ago, in January, cops arrested another man who trespassed onto Gomez's property in Tarzana, California.

Gomez had just moved into her 5-bedroom Calabasas house -- the upscale neighborhood where her seemingly on-again BF Justin Bieber just sold his home to Khloe Kardashian -- when the most recent incident occurred.

Super scary!
