Shakira is one of those stars who's so stunning that you sort of want to hate her, but so down to earth that you can't help but adore her. She continues her reign of "hottest best friend we wish we had" in the new issue of Self, where she talks about the efforts that went into her stellar post-baby bod.

"I did Zumba throughout my pregnancy," Shakira told the mag. "That helped me not gain too much weight."

Still, the 'Hips Don't Lie' singer admitted, "After the delivery, you look like a shar-pei!" Hey, shar-peis are adorable!

Regardless of her puppy comparison, Shaki has a great perspective on her body and on body image in general. The new mom to baby Milan explained, "I don't obsess over my flaws, because I see my body as a whole. Besides, I think men appreciate confidence more than perfection." Own that, ladies!

Though her taut tummy is what she works the hardest on, it's still not the petite powerhouse's favorite part of her enviable bod. What is? Of course, she giggled, "I'm quite proud of my rear."
