Shirley Temple has died at her home in California. She was 85.

According to USA Today, the movie and television actress and former child star with the iconic curly hair, died Monday (Feb. 10) surrounded by family at her home near San Francisco.

Temple was America's top box-office draw as a child star. As a matter of fact, from 1935, when she was 7, until 1938 she was the number 1 box office attraction. Her films include such classics as 'Curly Top' and 'The Littlest Rebel.'
