Lawmakers are looking for a criminal investigation into Gov. Paul LePage.

Three Democrats and one Independent lawmaker have sent a letter to Maine's attorney general. They claim LePage admitted withholding state funds for the Good-Will Hinckley school if they hired House Speaker Mark Eves. The Legislature's Government Oversight Committee accepted a final report just last week, regarding the investigation into the governor's actions involving Good-Will Hinckley.

According to WMTW, "Democratic Rep. Ben Chipman is accusing LePage of extortion, exerting improper influence and committing other crimes relating to the Good-Will Hinckley case and other instances during his time as governor."

The Attorney General's Office declined to comment on letter.
