May 24, 2013 6:11 PM Memorial Day weekend is here. One of the busiest travel times of the year next to Thanksgiving and Christmas. Are you going anywhere? Are you working? Part of my memorial weekend plans were going to include the Lewiston/Auburn parade tomorrow to watch my son play the trumpet in the middle and high school band. Too bad the parade was cancelled due to rain.

May 23, 2013 4:54 PM Today was garbage day on our street, which means it’s the day where we go through the fridge and toss all of the food and stuff that might be only appealing to a lab. I have a love and hate affair with leftovers. I love certain things reheated and some other foods not so much.
May 23, 2013 4:11 PM Today we took "Sweetie," our new cat to the vet for her free "welcome to our practice visit." We adopted "Sweetie" last Sunday at the Great Androscoggin Humane Society. When you adopt, you get a free visit to use within a week or two. We took "Sweetie" to our vet, "Thunder's" doctor, Dr. Rennix at the Poland Animal Hospital. I love them. If you live close to Lewiston/Auburn or Minot/Mechanic Falls, I would fully recommend them.

May 21, 2013 8:58 AM It looks like police have found the body of Nichole Cable in a wooded area near where she lived just north of Bangor last night at around 9:30pm. We'll find out for sure pending a positive ID. A news conference is scheduled for 10am. Click this to watch at 10.
