It took 10 innings, nearly four hours, seven pitchers, 17 hits and nine runs...but the Red Sox finally beat the Toronto Blue Jays 9-8 Friday night in wild, walk-off fashion.

The win was truly wild and whacky. The Sox gave up two runs in the top of the 10th - one run scored on a fly ball out to right field and the Blue Jay runner tagged up and scored from second base. Sox outfielder Allen Craig forgot how many outs there were and was late getting the ball back to the infield.

But in the bottom of the 10th, Mookie Betts, Xander Bogaerts and Christian Vazquez all reached base to start the comeback. Eventually, Yoenis Cespedes came up with the walk-off hit to win the game.
