Get ready for a fun and entertaining evening, Saturday, March 14, and you get to escape the cold and enjoy a little 'Springtime in Paris' at Le Club Calumet in Augusta.

Joelle Morris will be performing songs of the great Édith Piaf. There will be a dinner of excellent food from Le Club Calumet and live and silent auctions with a chance to bid on items with both French and eclectic flavors.

The event is to support two community programs that support the learning of French with the Maine French Heritage Language Program and  'French at UMA.' The MFHLP offers an after school elementary French language program, offered by the City of Augusta Recreation Bureau at Lincoln Elementary School. Also, 'French at UMA' offers classes and supports cultural programming to bring students and community members together to appreciate the richness and vitality of Maine's Franco-American community.

Karen Foust and Nicole Stein joined the Moose Morning Show to talk about 'Springtime in Paris'

Tickets are $40 per person and a table of 8 is $300. Call 626-2350 or email mfhlpaugusta@gmail.com or roger.nrf@roadrunner.com.
