Stephen King to Receive National Medal of Arts

Horror writer Stephen King will be making a trip to Washington D.C. this week. Yep...and reason to use this picture of Stephen King and me!  But this is a cool one. King will be receiving the National Medal of Arts from President Barack Obama at a White House Ceremony September 10th. He’s being honored as “one of the most popular and prolific writers of our time.” 11 other people will be receiving the award. (WABI)
