The winds are slowing down and the snow has moved out.

Now the cold will return and clean-up begins.

Winter storm 'Grayson', the Weather Channel's name for this storm, moves away from us on what happens to be the 20th anniversary of the Ice Storm of 1989.

The snow is not 'my thing' but I will take this over 10+ days of no power. BUT at least the those days were in the 30's and 40's and lots of sun.

This is also where we can talk totals.  I have no idea HOW you get snow totals when it was SO windy.  BUT here are the number I found from 11pm Thursday January 4th from the National Weather Service.

The big 'winners' seem to be Turner and Norway with 15 inches of snow.

As I am writing this I am still in my fuzzy jammies.  I have looked out side.  I have a huge drift in from of my garage and NO SNOW in parts of my driveway.  Same at my neighbors....I can see the blacktop!!  Gotta love the wind!

Now....my next big issues...HOW am I getting to work today?

Happy Friday and be safe my snowy friends.

Oh...back to the snow totals...here is last nights report from the National Weather Service out of Gray, Maine:
