Summer is Officially Over – What is Your Summer of 2013 Highlight?

Well people, summer is officially over and we can now truly begin to look ahead to leaf peeping, Halloween, school football and band competitions and the Red Sox in post season play. What are your summer highlights? 

I have to say our trip to Nova Scotia and New Brunswick was one, along with the Great Falls Balloon Festival.

Maybe you had a family reunion, spent time at the beach or went away for a week? Maybe it was the last summer spent with your college bound son or daughter?

One regret I is I never made it to the beach aside from a live broadcast at the end of August at Palace Playland. I suppose some would say there's still time if you want to walk and talk with feet in the sand, but the season of laying out is sadly over.

I'm curious as the calender turns to autumn, what is your summer of 2013 highlight?
