What Are Your ‘Sure Signs of Spring?’

What a gorgeous day. We've had a few nice days, but today finally feels like spring. Maybe, it's because today I experienced two sure signs that spring has sprung.

The first, was on the way in to the station early this morning. I saw a cute little 'black and white kitty' cross in front of me while driving. Luckily, I missed hitting that one. About a few seconds later my olfactory senses alerted me to the fact that someone else was not quite as lucky as I was. The stench is just so overpowering...it smelled like spring.

The second 'sure sign of spring' happened as I had to drive to Lewiston before heading back on-air. Low and behold, I discovered that Val's Drive-In is now opened for the season. The absolute best root beer around...in a frozen mug, of course.
