Sweet Video of 5 Year Old Signing During Her Christmas Concert

I find this so very sweet video so annoying. Here is my issue.

This little girl, Clair, has two deaf parents, so she knows how to sign.  During her Christmas concert she was signing so her parents would know what she was singing.  Sweet? YES.  Here is my first thought as I watched…why didn’t the school do a routine with ALL the kids doing a song and signing?

The elementary school I want to a MILLION years ago had a class of deaf students, I remember learning a song or two that we were taught to sign in American Sign Language.  I thought it was cool and could have been a great learning opportunity.
