ACAR

Throughout the month of October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month) ACAR, Al's Certified Auto Repair, State St., Augusta is proud to be taking part in the 'Brakes for Breasts' campaign.

I have 'gallery' of Hello Kitty things growing in my office space. Currently, it is mostly made up of Pez dispensers.  Well, say hello to the new Hello Kitty Pez. Thanks to my car husband Al Southerland and his wonderful real life wife Sue for my new kitty. Al and Sue own ACAR, Al's Certified Auto Repair in Augusta.

Being thankful is never out of style. Yesterday, I was in Al Certified Auto Repair in Augusta. I just happened to be there as Jon Leach, the Executive Director of the Children’s Center in Augusta, stopped in to give ACAR a thank-you for supporting the recent Chili-Chowder Challenge. Then today I found wonderful card in my mailbox.

It’s like going to the dentist, doctors or veterinarian’s. It's that once a year trek to get your car inspected. Is it going to be $12.50? Will it be more? Today it was my wife’s car, the Saab's turn for its 'well visit,' so-to-speak. My idea of getting an inspection done is waiting until either you get a warning from the police or two months over due, which ever comes first.
