Only a small fraction of people typically engage in this kitchen duty. However, my wife and I went ahead and did it in our Maine home last night.

It's been a long time coming but the day has finally arrived. This afternoon at 4:37 PM, we welcomed our new 14 pound 6 ounce air fryer off the UPS truck.

My daughter, Michelle, called me up last night and asked if I'd join her and Jeremy or a trip to Fortin's on Friday. I told her it depended on what I was doing with Marie Anne being it was our last vacation day. Suffice it to say, it wasn't beach weather so I decided I'd go shopping with the young'uns for a new washer/dryer....

Here I am it's Sunday morning sipping coffee and waiting for my dryer to be delivered. There are still two loads of wet laundry in the basement left from Friday when the dryer died. I'm freaking about mold and mildew in jeans but I guess they're okay, I'll rewash the loads when the dryer gets here.
