KidsPeace Maine will be hosting a 'Beer & Wine Tasting and Silent Auction' Saturday (Nov. 23) from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn, 14 Great Falls Plaza in Auburn. Proceeds to benefit children in foster care and community programs.

The '41st Kiwanis Charities Auction' from the Kiwanis Club of Augusta will be 2 consecutive evenings on Nov. 5 and Nov. 6. The auction this year will will be broadcast on Time Warner Cable Channel 9 6 starting at 6:30 .pm. and ending at 10:00 p.m. both nights.

The event is Jan. 11 at 5:30 p.m. at the Sable Oaks Marriott in South Portland and benefits the Maine Children's Cancer Program. All who attend will receive an autographed 8x10 photo of Trot Nixon.

Get ready for a great time to help outsome great causes, Saturday September 1. It's the Annual Bing-Sol Pig Roast and Auction. Gates open at 10:00 am and BBQ buffet starts at 12:00 noon. The event is hosted by Doug and Rita Sukeforth and will benefit Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area and Spectrum Generations Meals on Wheels.
