The search for a new cat has a conclusion. I was working so I couldn't go with the family to pick out the kitten. We found one at The Greater Androscoggin Human Society. A little gray kitten who my sons are calling 'Thunder.'
We thought the boys were distracted enough so Lynn and I went on-line to look at and consider the "wow" gift for Christmas for the kids. I guess it's probably more of a family gift. Anyway, we're getting a kitten. I can talk about it because the cat is out of the bag, literally.
Cats and dogs certainly have different personality traits. How would you react to them if they were people instead?
We could offer an explanation of this. But we really don't have one, and do you really need one? It's just an adorable Corgi puppy and an equally adorable kitten snuggling, and arguing in their sleep over who gets the most pillow
It seems like just one week ago we were posting a picture of a dog in a garbage can on our Facebook page. Since then, we've shared lots of stuff with you, and in return, you make us LOL with your witty, sometimes disturbing (looking at you, guy who said he take his time killing a cat) comments. Here are our favorite captions you provided for our weekly photo contest. Congratulations to our winners, who will receive...bragging rights. Awesome, awesome bragging rights.

Pets are the best. They cheer us up when we're feeling blue, let us dress them in super embarrassing costumes and help us in our chemistry lesson struggles. That's why we love it when we come across awesome videos like this one that further prove our point.
Ask anybody who owns a cat: Cats love sports. Not because they love the interplay of human achievement at the highest level with physics and chance, or because they love statistics and analysis. No, they love sports because a small ball goes flying around, riveting their attention
You might take the democratic process very seriously, but not everybody is on your side. Specifically the 6,000 or so people who wrote in a cat for US Senator of Virginia. The cat came in third place.
