A post Mac did got me thinking about older holiday commercials. What are some of your favorite Christmas holiday ads from the past? The Santa Coke spot is certainly one for me. I'm still upset that Coke discontinued the Santa Cokes, but for the most part I’m over it now. Here are a few more of my holiday favorites.

Well, there's no holiday sense of understanding on the roads in Augusta, I'll tell ya that. I saw a guy from Public Works stringing lights on the tree in the center of the Cony Circle of Death today and I did what any other news reporter would have done. I abandoned my vehicle in my lane on the circle, got out and took this neat photo! How festive!

We are two months away from Christmas. Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? It’s hard not to think of it because all of the stores now have Holiday sections and decorations up now.

How has your weekend been so far? Have you taken down all of your holiday decorations? That has been and is the task for us today along with laundry. It's amazing to me how much faster and easier it is to put up the decor than it is to take it down.

Forget that singing telegram she received this holiday season from her boyfriend, One Direction's Harry Styles. Taylor Swift has revealed that her best Christmas gift -- like, ever -- was from dear ol' dad.

The holiday season is usually a momentous time for laughs, cheers and smiles, but this kid's reaction, while still happy, was a little different. He might not have been too psyched over that initial gift, appearing a bit apathetic, but the second one surely got to him, resulting in a response no one expected -- especially the parents.

If you want a most excellent ham salad sandwich, you have to start with a good ham. Canned Spam won't cut it. If you have leftover ham from Christmas, that would be perfect. Now, my sure fire recipe that'll keep 'em comin' back for more.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and Santa was good to you. I know my kids loved it all. Strangely enough my boys let us sleep in until 7 am. We had to wake Vikki up at 7:30 because everyone else was getting too impatient.

I had no idea that the gathering at Kennebec Savings Bank in Augusta would be so uplifting. I would enjoy President Mark Johnston's piano playing by itself but Laura Hudson (of KSB and the School Street Band) had a bigger plan....
