In response, a petition was created to send Carrey back to Canada, and FOX's Greg Gutfeld spewed a few nasty rants about the actor.

I, like every civil minded person in this country, am sickened over the tragedy in Newtown Connecticut. I am also a responsible gun owner. I resent Mr. Morgan suggesting that his interviewee and others are "idiots." He also used the word "stupid." Classy guy, he is. How is he on a national TV show?
