A series of tornadoes ripped across Arkansas, Oklahoma and Iowa on Sunday, killing at least 17 people and destroying multiple homes, vehicles and businesses.
Chris Lane, an Australian man who had recently accepted a scholarship to play baseball for East Central University in Oklahoma, was shot and killed by three Oklahoma teens Friday afternoon. According to the police, the teens did it simply because they were bored.
It's called "A Night Out for Oklahoma Relief" and it happens in downtown Augusta at Charlamagne's, Tina Charest's place, this Thursday from 5-8pm. Not only will a dollar from Tina's spring drinks go to the effort from 5-8 that evening, but right through to June 27th, making this a, potentially, very substantial fund raiser!
