Today, September 12th is ‘National Video Game Day’. If you’re in your mid 30s or older you probably remember throwing in quarter after quarter trying to break the high score of someone you only knew by their three initials.
I remember this game was the first or second game on the right at Goliath Family Amusement Center in the back of the Promenade Mall in Lewiston, where Tim Nicholsan and I played games for 50 hours. We did it live on WLAM in an attempt to set a world record. We didn't. But we ate well...Yianni's Pizza was upstairs at the mall....
