The world was shocked and saddened when 'The Bachelor' star Gia Allemand took her own life last week. Her family and friends were predictably the most devastated, and they paid touching tributes to Allemand and planned funeral services for the starlet who was taken too soon.

A few weeks ago, we heard about a last-minute order for NBC's reality-skewing 'Siberia,' a mysterious new project set for a summer debut in which a reality competition goes horribly awry at the site of the infamous Tunguska Blast of 1908. Just as quickly, NBC has already released the first trailer for the new mystery effort, and it has more than a bit of 'LOST' in its DNA.

As had been rumored for a while, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj have both publicly confirmed that they are leaving 'American Idol' after this season, following the announcement that Randy Jackson was also retiring. This leaves Keith Urban as the last judge standing, though perhaps not for long.
