What a treat this morning! When I got a call just before 6:30 this morning on our listener line, I recognized the voice! I had spoken with Miss Marcum several times on the phone and, when it comes to voices, I'm pretty good at recognizing them!

Every once in awhile, a song surfaces that makes me think: "Wow, someone wrote that just for me!" Such is the feeling I got when I played this little gem. At first, I laughed until my guts hurt. That was followed by uncontrollable sobbing. I'm sobbing right now. I can't stop. I know sooner or later I'm going to have to face the fact.....I just don't look good naked anymore. Not sur

Mrs. Damon from Pittston School, who is not only a great teacher but also a dear friend, entrusted me with one of her student's Flat Stanleys. I was to take the storybook character (who was flattened by a bulletin board, thus could go almost anywhere) on great adventures with me and capture the moments in photographs. I was delighted!

Rock star and fellow gun enthusiast, Ted Nugent, may or may not like my song but I figured, where Michigan (Ted's home state) just approved the picking up of roadkill for food, why not do a song about it in the style of the Motor City Madman? Enjoy "Roadkill Fever!"

A trip to the doctor's office yesterday accomplished a lot. Removal of all those grody skin tags I've had. But with their removal came a sense of loss...one that I needed to memorialize in song...

Greg Michaels is a little concerned about his upcoming hernia surgery, which I've actually had done. I did the best I could do to ease his fears. I wrote a little song (that sounds a tad like something else!)

For some reason, whether it was from being all hopped up on coffee or just delighted to be back on the radio, I felt a little bouncy this morning so I dug out a Tigger song I did many years ago! By the way, sorry for the lame pic. I was so hopped up earlier, I was too lazy to Photoshop this....

Half the night, Selena Gomez was running through my head with "Love You Like a Love Song." Over and over and over and over again. Couldn't sleep for the darned song! Now, I know what to do if that happens again!
