Taylor Grey's name may or may not yet be on your radar, but one listen to the 19-year-old's infectious pop jams and you'll find her very difficult to forget.

On the Californian artist's debut album, Space Case, streaming exclusively on PopCrush today (June 16), the young singer-songwriter displays a penchant for effortlessly catchy pop songwriting, the kind that typically takes years of trial and error to develop.

“I wrote and recorded this last summer and am so happy to see it finally coming to life!" Grey shares, adding, "My focus was to make an album that you could could listen to anywhere, anytime. I wanted fans to be able to find a relatable song that fits their mood—whether on a road trip, having a dance party, or chilling alone in their room."

Executive produced by Josh Abraham (Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen, Kelly Clarkson), the record sparkles with the glossy sheen of early 2000s Top 40, without ever feeling too sugary or like a dated homage to the pop of eras past. Songs like "Miami," a humid trop-pop duet with Spencer Kane, and "Wild Bird," a folksy mid-tempo with a soaring chorus, reveal a passion for genre-busting while somehow staying consistent within the album's overarching mood.

Elsewhere, the singer dips her toes into euphoric, wobbling '80s-inspired pop on "Say You Love Me," and plays with Shania Twain/Miley Cyrus-style country pop on the bright, airy "Open Road," her voice never faltering from its effervescent glow.

"With the help and guidance of Josh Abraham and Nico Stadi, we were able to create a unique sound that I like to call 'space pop,'" Grey continues. "However, Space Case is infused with elements spanning across all genres as well, all the way from alternative to country. This album is for all the young women and men out there who are growing up, experiencing life, and dreaming fearlessly."
