Taylor Swift is doing four sold-out shows at the Staples Center in Los Angeles this week, which means by Sunday, she'll hold a new record -- becoming the solo artist with the most sellouts at the arena.

Her sellout on Monday became her eighth time to fill the place (surpassing the seven sellouts that Madonna and Justin Timberlake each have), and tonight's sellout will be the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer's ninth, topping Britney Spears' previous record of eight.

Saturday's packed house will tie T-Swizzle with Latin pop group Mana for the most overall Staples sellouts, but give her the record for solo artists -- with 11 in her career. Her achievement is being recognized with a ceremony this afternoon attended by stadium and tour officials, as well as 20 college students who are part of the Recording Academy’s GrammyU program.

The North American leg of Taylor's Red Tour has already grossed almost $96 million, and still has more than a dozen concerts left. Later this year, Swift will take the show Down Under, where she'll mark yet another milestone -- becoming the first woman in 20 years to play a stadium tour in Australia (Madonna last did it in 1993).
