The number #1 song from 20 years ago this week is “All For Love” by Adams, Stewart & Sting. It’s one of my all time favorite love songs. The funny thing is I could probably have told you I would have loved the song even before I heard it by reading the credits.

Often when we listen to albums or songs we know who the artist is, and sometimes we look up the lyrics or know members in the band. As you probably know too, there are many people who are involved in your favorite song or album. This includes the background musicians, the song writers and producers.

Over the years, I can make a safe bet I’ll like anything Robert John “Mutt” Lange produces. He has had his touch on a lot of hit records, and in his time almost everything he had an input on turned to platinum, never mind gold.

Here is just a sampling of who “Mutt” has worked with and the albums that have blown up over the last 30+ years.

Maroon 5, Nickelback, The Cars, Def Leppard, AC/DC, Foreigner, Heart, Billy Ocean, Lady Gaga and of course his ex-wife, Shania Twain.

Just a few albums that went to the platinum mark that’s he’s produced, ‘Back in Black’ by AC/DC, all three major Def Leppard albums, ‘Heartbeat City’ from The Cars, ' Foreigner  4' Bryan Adams’ ‘Waking Up The Neighbours’, and Nickelback's 'Dark Horse'. Lange has also scored many major hits with singles from assorted artists.

Here are a few of my favorite songs "Mutt" Lange has either written and or produced.
