The Album ‘Like A Prayer’ From Madonna Was Released 25 Years Ago Today!

Can you believe it, 25 years ago today Madonna released one of the most controversial music videos to date and dropped the album of the same name, 'Like A Prayer'. On March 21, 1989 Madonna made Catholics upset with her artistry and Sire records very happy with the release.

The album, 'Like A Prayer' had three major hits one being of course the title track, the other two were "Cherish" and "Express Yourself."

The album went to #1, spent 77 weeks on the charts and sold over four million copies!
