The Annual Augusta Food Bank Dinner and Auction Raised Thousands for Local Families

And yes, Jon and I won the pie! The 2^nd Annual Augusta Food Bank Dinner and Auction was a big hit! It raised thousands for the Augusta Food Bank.

Part of the event was a pie auction. Jon wanted a coconut and banana cream pie. Well, someone made it! The pie is currently in my fridge to share with Mr. James. I have to say WOW. When I walked in Friday night to the Calumet Club in Augusta the place was packed. Augusta and Manchester residents turned out to support the food bank. The wall on the left side of the room was packed with the live auction items, there were over a dozen pies in the pie auction. I did not get a final total. I think it will be a few days of adding things up to get that. But I can tell you it was a HUGE success! Just one of the many wonderful events in a very caring Central Maine.
