On average the turkey day meal will cost us an extra .37 cents. Not a big jump, but I like it when those numbers head the other direction.  The price for putting Thanksgiving dinner on the table is expected to rise slightly this year, to about $49.41. Yes that's 37 cents higher than in 2013.

Why you ask? The increase is blamed on the higher price of dairy. The dairy used for the mashed potatoes and the whipped cream for pies is about 25 cents more than in 2013. (AP)
