Well, that didn't take long. The Boston Red Sox have fired manager Bobby Valentine. The Red Sox last night finished the season with their worst record since 1965. Valentine lasted one tumuluous season at Fenway Park. He failed to bring order to a clubhouse that was a mess after last September's collapse.

Valentine finished with a record of 69-93. The team had a rash of injuries and then traded 3 of their best players in a salary dumb to Los Angeles. Once the trade of Adrian Gonzalez, Carl Crawford and Josh Beckett went down, it seems so did the urgency of the team to win.

It'll be an interesting off season for Red Sox Nation.
