Not wanting to spoil it for anyone who has not seen last night's ep, I won't reveal much of what happened.  But, if you saw last night's episode there was a certain song that was played over and over again.  Even though it is probably the worst earworm I have ever heard, I had to know what it was...

Thanks to my Shazam app, I now know...

"Easy Street" by The Collapsable Hearts Club.

According to Britain's Durham University, most earworms are upbeat (check!), have a simple and generic melody (check!), and have something very repetitive to set it apart from other pop songs (CHECK!).  Obviously, it is helped by the fact that it was played over and over and over in the only show that I really pay close attention to every second of.

Over the last few minutes I've realized, even if you are not a Walking Dead fan, the song REALLY gets on people's nerves.  So, the next time someone really ticks me off, I'm just going to turn up the volume on my laptop, put this video on repeat, and walk away!  You could (and should) do the same!
