The Weeknd brought treats, not tricks, at his pre-Halloween concert in New York on Saturday (Oct. 27). The sold-out concert at the Paradise Theater in the Bronx was filled with fans eagerly awaiting this year's most exciting R&B star.

According to MTV News, Abel Tesfaye kicked his show off at 9:30 PM with the ballad 'Lonely Star,' one of the songs from his three previously-released mixtapes, which have been repackaged for his upcoming compilation 'Triliogy.' Sadly, Weeknd didn't perform any of the new songs that are featured on the album -- ‘Twenty Eight,’ ‘Valerie’ and ‘Till Dawn (Here Comes the Sun).'

Nevertheless, the crooner performed his emotional songs like 'What You Need,' 'The Party & The After Party,' 'The Zone' and 'Wicked Games.' The show got really turned up when Tesfaye, backed by a full band and backup singers, performed a rendition of Drake's 'Crew Love' as the crowd sung along.

For an encore, the Weeknd treated fans to 'Outside' another fan-favorite track from his celebrated mixtape series. Overall, audiences in the Boogie Down Bronx had a great weekend thanks to the man of the hour -- the Weeknd.
