UFC Fight Night 30 — Lyoto Machida va. Mark Munoz

Phones 4U Arena, Manchester, England; 3 p.m. (ET) on Fox Sports 2
Former light heavyweight contender Lyoto Machida (19-4, 11-4 UFC) makes the move to middleweight to face Mark Munoz (13-3, 8-3 UFC) in Manchester, England on Saturday. Known as 'The Filipino Wrecking Machine,' Machida's frenetic fighting style and trademark ground-and-pound attack, could give former NCAA wrestling All-American Munoz trouble. Also on the card are the following bouts: Ross Pearson vs. Melvin Guillard and Jimi Manuwa vs. Ryan Jimmo.

(10) Texas Tech at (17) Oklahoma

Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, Norman, Okla.; 3:30 p.m. (ET) on Fox
Undefeated, 10th-ranked Texas Tech (7-0) travels to No. 17 Oklahoma for a showdown of nationally ranked Big 12 teams. Second-string quarterback Davis Webb will look to continue his magic for the Red Raiders as he gets another start in place of injured starter Baker Mayfield. The Sooners (6-1) will counter with the nation's stingiest pass defense—giving up just 149.7 yards per game. Quarterback Blake Bell leads the OU offense.

(12) UCLA at (2) Oregon

Autzen Stadium, Eugene, Ore.; 7 p.m. (ET) on ESPN
After suffering their first loss at Stanford last Saturday, 12th-ranked UCLA (5-1) is back on the road at second-ranked Oregon (7-0) in a Pac-12 battle. Bruins quarterback Brett Hundley struggled in last week's loss behind a banged-up offensive line. Ducks QB Marcus Mariota is a potential Heisman Trophy candidate.

(20) South Carolina at (5) Missouri

Faurot Field, Columbia, Mo.; 7 p.m. (ET) on ESPN2
Fifth-ranked Missouri (7-0) is leading the SEC East and threatening to become part of the national-championship picture, but they'll have to beat another ranked opponent this week to do so. Freshman quarterback Maty Mauk will make his second start for the injured James Franklin against 20th-ranked South Carolina (5-2) and lauded defensive end Jadeveon Clowney. The Gamecocks will likely start Dylan Thompson at quarterback in place of the injured Connor Shaw.

Penn State at (4) Ohio State

Ohio Stadium, Columbus, Ohio; 8 p.m. (ET) on ABC
Unranked Penn State (4-2) visits undefeated, fourth-ranked Ohio State (7-0). The Buckeyes are riding a 19-game winning streak coming into Saturday. After suffering its first loss of the season to Indianapolis last Sunday, Denver (6-1) hosts Washington (2-4) in a homecoming for Redskins' head coach Mike Shanahan, who coached the Broncos to back-to-back Super Bowls in 1998 and 1999. Denver quarterback Peyton Manning missed practice this week with a sore ankle, but he's expected to play on Sunday. Robert Griffin III will lead the Redskins offense.

Mall of America Field, Minneapolis; 8:30 p.m. (ET) on NBC
NFC North-leading Green Bay (4-2) travels to division cellar-dweller Minnesota (1-5) for a Sunday night game. The Packers have been beset by injuries, but they will have quarterback Aaron Rodgers and rookie running back Eddie Lacy to give the Vikings defense fits. Minnesota is likely to start Christian Ponder at quarterback after last week's starter Josh Freeman was diagnosed with a concussion as a result of Monday night's loss to the Giants.
