Terrence Malick is known for taking very long breaks in between projects (there was a 20-year gap between 'Days of Heaven' and 'The Thin Red Line'). Though, after last year's 'The Tree of Life,' the director has evidently decided to churn them out with a vengeance, starting with 2013's 'To the Wonder,' for which we have the first trailer. Take a look after the break!

Malick has assembled a very starry cast for his latest opus, including Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams, Javier Bardem and Olga Kurylenko. The film, as can be expected, looks beautiful and dreamlike, although some of the early reviews out of the festival circuit a few months ago were decidedly mixed. That said, Malick has never been everybody's cup of tea, so you can still consider us very excited for his latest meditation on life and love.

'To the Wonder' tells the story of Marina (Kurylenko) and Neil (Affleck), who meet in France and move to Oklahoma to start a life together, where problems soon arise. While Marina makes the acquaintance of a priest and fellow exile (Bardem), who is struggling with his vocation, Neil renews a relationship with a childhood sweetheart, Jane (McAdams).

The film opens domestically in April and bows overseas in February, but you can watch the first full trailer below.
