The Aaron Hernandez arraignment is over and he has been charged with murder and was hit with five weapons charges. It is way too early to make light of this case, if it will ever be okay where it’s murder, but already we are seeing headlines like “The Smoking Gum.”

This isn’t funny, a man lost his life in a homicide and the victim’s family is reeling and there is a man standing trial for murder. We all make inappropriate jokes and say insensitive things at times but you are a national publication? Come on, you’re better than that.
