Travis Mills’ Book ‘Tough as They Come’ Heading to the Big Screen
Retired United States Army Staff Sergeant Travis Mills has joined us many times on the Moose Morning Show to discuss the Travis Mills Foundation, the Maine Chance Lodge Veterans Retreat, and his inspirational book, 'Tough as They Come.'
Now it looks like Travis' book may be turned in to a movie. According to screencrush.com, Sylvester Stallone is looking to direct with Adam Driver, to star in the lead as Mills, one of the only soldiers to ever survive a battlefield injury necessitating a quadruple amputation. Driver starred as Kylo Ren in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens.'
According to deadline.com, the heart of the story will be Travis' relationship with his father-in-law, Craig Buck, who stood by his side from the day he got home from the hospital. Stallone will play his father-in-law. Fox is acquiring a package that includes the memoir, and the life rights of Mills and his father-in-law.
