Volunteer Advocacy Training for the Sexual Assault Crisis & Support Center Begins This Week [INTERVIEW]

Jenna McCarthy Mayhew and Sara Bangs from the Sexual Assault Crisis & Support Center joined us on the Moose Morning Show talking about their organization and some important events coming right up. As a matter of fact, their next round of volunteer advocacy training begins this Wednesday, March 2.

The Sexual Assault Crisis & Support Center's mission as explained on their website is "to lessen the trauma-related suffering of sexual assault and promote healing by guiding those affected by sexual violence toward survival through support, advocacy, education and community collaboration."

They rely on the support of volunteers to provide the much needed services to survivors of sexual violence in Kennebec and Somerset Counties.
