The Augusta Police say that officers responded yesterday (Sept. 9) to a report of a robbery at the Walgreens Pharmacy Memorial Circle in Augusta.

According to the Walgreens Pharmacy Robbery (09-09-18), "the suspect was described as a white male believed to be in his late 20’s possibly early 30’s with a beard approached the pharmacy. A written threat was conveyed to the pharmacist. However, no weapon was displayed. Narcotics were provided to the suspect, who left on foot."

Nobody was harmed during the incident, which is being investigated by The Bureau of Criminal Investigations.
