If it's on the internet, it must be true, right?

A story has been circulating around Facebook titled  "Will Ferrell Had This to Say About Augusta, Maine Residents"  The article goes on to say that Will Ferrell was recently in Augusta and had car problems. Apparently, many Augusta residents pulled over and helped him (not knowing who he was), got him and his car to a garage, and even took him to lunch at The Red Barn where they enjoyed lobster rolls, or as Ferrell is quoted in the article saying "Great freakin’ lobster rolls"

To be honest with you, I could see this happening in Augusta, as most people are very friendly, and there is no denying just how tasty the lobster rolls are at the Red Barn!

But it looks like it's a hoax.

According to the website That's Nonsense The fake news industry is at it again with a brand new wave of fake news stories designed to trick people into visiting their webpages and reading their spoof articles, this time by claiming that various celebrities had something nice to say about the residents of a specific town.

Oh well. If Will Ferrell is reading this, and he finds himself in Augusta, look me up. I'll be happy to take you to the Red Barn for a delicious lobster roll!
