The regular season finale for the Boston Red Sox was almost secondary yesterday (They lost to Toronto, 2-1) because the day was all about David Ortiz. It was Big Papi's regular season finale at Fenway Park.

Among those on hand to honor the legendary Sox DH was former Boston greats Pedro Martinez, Manny Ramirez and many other World Championship team members.

Also during the emotional ceremony, it was announced that a bridge over the Mass Pike and a street in Boston would be named for Ortiz. Maine's Brian Butterfield (Sox third base coach) presented Ortiz with a pair of LL Bean boots.
